SunMed Pet Products: Tinctures

With tinctures, consistency is key. We recommend administering it once or twice daily, around the same time each day. The oil takes time to build up, typically a few days to a week. Once it is in the system, the effects tend to last about 8 to 12 hours. Tinctures can be administered orally or added to food or treats. A tincture is highly concentrated hemp oil, in our brand’s case, we use organic MCT oil as our carrier, derived from coconut oil. The Phytocannabinoid-Rich (PCR) hemp has a naturally high CBD level, as well as an abundance of other beneficial cannabinoids (CBG, CBN, and CBC), flavonoids, terpenes, and essential amino acids.
